The season for harvesting spruce bark has come. A 33 cubicle container filled with freshly harvested spruce bark was dilvered to our yard outside the tannery.

Before blending spruce bark with water from Pite-river and starting the year long tanning process of leather hides, the bark will first dry to 60 % of it’s fresh weight.
